Clinical Indications
Urticaria, hypertension, cor pulmonale, coronary artery disease, angina pectoris, rheumatic valvular heart disease, chest trauma, intercostal neuralgia, costochondritis, migraine, cerebral hemorrhage, postconcussion syndrome, trigeminal neuralgia, neurosis, psychosis, dysmenorrhea, and menopausal syndrome.
Symptoms & Signs
Dark or purplish lips, complexion or sclera, tidal fever, insomnia, restless sleep, fixed stabbing headache, choking sensation when drinking, chest pain, palpitations, incessant hiccough, dry heaves, hypochondriac pain, depression accompanied by warm sensation in chest, mood swings, irritability, irregular menstruation, painful menstruation.
Precautions
Do not use during pregnancy. Do not use unmodified for uterine bleeding or other hemorrhagic disorders.
Pulse Quality
Choppy or wiry, tense.
Tongue Appearance
Dark red with possible static patches or dark spots.
