Therapeutic Functions

Supplements the spleen and kidney, drains damp, disinhibits urine, outthrusts pus, disperses accumulation and moves blood and qi.*

Clinical Indications

This formula treats urinary dysfunction in the form of frequent urination, dribbling urine, incomplete urination and painful urination. These can be related to prostatitis, enlarged prostate or urinary tract disorders.

Symptoms & Signs

Frequent urination, dribbling urine, incomplete urination and painful or turbid urination as seen in patients who present with pale complexion, fatigue, low back pain and other signs of vacuity of the spleen and kidney.

Precautions

Not for use in pregnant women or persons taking blood thinning medications.

Pulse Quality

Varied, may be slow and deep or slippery and slightly rapid.

Tongue Appearance

Pale and scalloped with a white or slightly yellow tongue fur.
