Clinical Indications
Common cold, influenza, parotitis, acute bronchitis, early stage pneumonia, pulmonary abscess, otitis media, and tonsillitis.
Symptoms & Signs
Fever, slight chills, headache, ear or mouth ulcers, swollen gums, sore throat, conjunctivitis, cough with little or no sputum, and constipation.
Precautions
Use for short time only. Contraindicated for use with loose stools or diarrhea.
Pulse Quality
Replete, rapid, possibly floating.
Tongue Appearance
Red with a yellow coat.
