Clinical Indications
Measles, upper respiratory infection, influenza, epidemic parotitis, strept throat, bacillary dysentery, tuberculosis, chronic asthma, pneumonia, pulmonary abscess, urinary tract infection, diarrhea, viral hepatitis, toxic furuncles, acute tonsillitis, acute pharyngitis, and mastitis.
Symptoms & Signs
Fever and chills, severe sore throat, difficulty swallowing, panting, yellow sputum, dysuria, explosive diarrhea.
Precautions
Not for long term use. Use with caution in cases of spleen and stomach vacuity.
Pulse Quality
Rapid, slippery, possibly floating.
Tongue Appearance
Red with yellow coating.
