Clinical Indications
Cellulitis, septicemia, acute enteritis, dysentery, urticaria, pneumonia, acute urinary tract infection, acute hepatitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, erysipelas, carbuncles, furuncles, boils, ulcers, and acute conjunctivitis.
Symptoms & Signs
Vigorous fever, dry mouth and throat, delirious speech, carbuncles, deep-rooted boils, epistaxis, hemoptysis, and jaundice.
Precautions
Do not use in patients with bodily vacuity of the spleen and stomach. Do not administer for long periods of time. Do not use for heat in the constuctive or blood levels, as it can easily injure the yin.
